This year, Halloween falls on a weekday. But why should it be celebrated on just the one day? Instead, show off your costumes early by participating in the 2017 Atlantic City Halloween Parade the weekend before.
What: 2017 Atlantic City Halloween Parade
Where: On the Boardwalk at New Jersey Ave (by the Showboat)
When: Saturday, October 28th, 2 pm (judging), 3 pm (parade begins)
Contact: Atlantic City Rotary Club (609) 703-9000
2017 Atlantic City Halloween Parade
The Atlantic City Rotary Club performs philanthropic work for the Jersey Shore community all year long. For something a little different and a lot of fun, they decided to put together the 2017 Atlantic City Halloween Parade. Beginning at 3 pm, watch as floats, local drill teams, cars, and costumed participants wind their way down the historic Atlantic City Boardwalk.
Since fall weather can be unpredictable, there’s a contingency plan in case of rain. Currently, the weatherman predicts possible showers on and off throughout the afternoon of the 28th. We all know how that can change, though. If rain does occur, the parade then takes place on the 29th. Check the weather report ahead of time and make sure you dress appropriately.
How to Participate in the 2017 Atlantic City Halloween Parade
The deadline to enter vehicles and floats into the parade has already passed. However, simply show up in costume on the 28th and you’ll automatically be allowed to walk in the parade. Line-up and judging start promptly at 2 pm outside the Showboat. Prizes will be awarded for best costume.
Dress up in your favorite costumes and head out to the Boardwalk on Saturday, October 28th. The Halloween fun starts early this year. All ages welcome.
