Atlantic City 2015 Kentucky Ave Renaissance Festival

Search homes for sale at the Jersey ShoreThe Atlantic City 2015 Kentucky Ave Renaissance Festival isn’t like any other Renaissance Faire you may have attended before.  For one thing, the “renaissance” referred to at this festival isn’t the period of time after the Middle Ages.  Instead, it refers to a renewal and celebration of the musical past of Kentucky Ave in our Atlantic City community.  From the 1940s to the 1960s, Club Harlem ruled Kentucky Ave.  It was the Apollo Theater of New Jersey.  Jazz and Blues reigned supreme.  The Atlantic City 2015 Kentucky Ave Renaissance Festival wants to capture that bygone era by showcasing some incredible talent of today.

Last year’s festival included amazing performances by such talented artists as John Sax Williams, the Harold Melvin Blue Notes and the R&B Disco group GQ.  This year is going to be just as good…if not better.  In addition to live music, the Atlantic City 2015 Kentucky Ave Renaissance Festival will have several children’s activities set up around the site.  Don’t be surprised if you see some street performers while you’re there.  If you get hungry, don’t worry.  Several food vendors will keep your tummy full.

It’s going to be a little rainy in the morning tomorrow.  Dress warmly.  The Atlantic City 2015 Kentucky Ave Renaissance Festival is absolutely free to the public.  Don’t miss out on the fun!
